Helen Doron

CEO Helen Doron Educational Group and Word of the Day Enthusiast
Yes, there really IS a Helen Doron! (LOTS of people ask.) As a British linguist and educator, Helen founded the Helen Doron Educational Group in 1985, teaching children and teens English with a unique methodology and wonderful, musical learning materials. The seriously fun method caught on quickly, and within a short time, the original network of specially trained Helen Doron teachers grew into a vibrant international franchise operation. Thanks to Helen, you can easily, efficiently and naturally learn English all over the world!

Richard Freedman

Radio Manager and Head Broadcaster
Originally from the moon (explains the weird accent), Richard accidentally landed on planet earth many years ago, liked the people and the music and decided to stay. He has been working at radio stations throughout the world for over 20 years and loves music from all eras and loves many types of sport here on Earth. Richard loves being crazy on air and meeting people from all over the planet. His ambition is to go back to the moon and start the first radio station for teens there: Moon FM. The motto that Richard lives by always is “Don’t worry, be happy!”

Originally from Southern California, Leah enjoys camping outdoors and exploring new places. You can find Leah either announcing the Weird News, taking outdoor walks and singing loudly, or curled up reading a good book. Or all three at the same time “Anything is possible!” is her motto in life.

Iris!
Iris!

Lady of the Warehouse
Iris came from the moon with Richard, is his #1 fan and has been working with him since the beginning. When Richard was interviewed for the job at Helen Doron Radio, his one requirement was for Iris to be given a job in the warehouse, spending 10 hours a day sending out Helen Doron Radio T-Shirts to lucky winners. Iris sits in her position all day listening to HD Radio waiting for Richard to shout “Iris T-Shirt” to be sent anywhere in the world.

From the small state of New Jersey (USA), Neely loves all things that are music and entertainment. While she definitely can’t hold a tune (or so her peers say!), she is an avid music junkie.
